At 4.03pm on the 28th of September 1992 at the Hawke's Bay Hospital in Hastings weighing in at 7lbs8oz a very handsome bald Chingy Christopher Jacob Julian was born!!
Raised in three homesteads Higginson St Otane(grandparents) and Tamumu Rd Waipawa (family
homestead) Nuhaka (papas homestead) his grandparents (Nancy and Tamihana) played a big role throughout his childhood! while his parents worked Nan and Papa were the baby sitters along his side his sister and two first cousins Zarihana and Darryl Pere. Chris was very much a Mummy's boy lol and anything he asked for both his Mum and Dad would to fulfill his every command he was spoilt rotten by many mostly his parents and papa Hana.
Chris spent his early childhood years at Te Kohanga Reo o Otane with his Nanny Nancy he also spent alot of time with his papa Tamihana every holidays in Nuhaka where he learnt so much important values whakapapa, pepeha about his whenua and where he came from! at the ripe age of 9 he
learnt to drive a manual vehicle/motorbike and by the age of 10yrs old he was driving the tractor everywhere his Papa was he wasn't far behind to climbing his Maunga Moumoukai to diving off the Nuhaka bridge into his Awa moving
cattle to different paddocks to helping paint the tekoteko on his Wharenui whatever his Papa was doing Chris was never left behind!
From 5yrs to 13yrs Chris was a tauira at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori O Takapau where he learnt some of the most important values he still held throughout his life ,Te Reo Rangatira and Tikanga Māori. Matua JB Heperi-Smith was a role model in Christophers Kura days and Chris was forever grateful for all the lessons he instilled in him.
In 2005 he started at Te Aute College as a 7day border for 3yrs some good and not so good years spent there, he was quite the mischievous young man as most would know he got up to alot of mischief throughout his life some what he'd laugh about and some he wasn't too proud of.
He grew up with alot of friends/cousin's who became lifetime brothers (Tumanako Eru(Dec) Daniel Puna (Dec) Darryl Pere, Keith Timu, Ray Timu, Damien Timu, Angus Dodunski, Zane Lewis, Peter Lewis, Tetini Pekepo,
Jesse Wharehinga, Sturgis Smith Cole Eru, Levi Lewis, Viking Aranui, Tangaroa Hone, Riley and Eli Neho-Watts and many more.
In 2009 he met the love of his life the mother to his Beautiful babies Doris Pene they spent 9 long years together and in-between those 9 years they created two Beautiful girls Impala born 26th of June 2012 & Xavier'Dior Julian born 16th October 2017 Chris was a very Over protective Caring and Loving Father to his daughters they were the absolute apple of his eye️.
Throughout his years Chris joined a brotherhood that he loved whole heartedly like no other he was accepted and taken in by the Mighty Mongrel Mob Notorious where he grew and learnt alot from his mighty, Sonny Smith and all his brothers he made many life long memories and connections
throughout all the chapters he also Accomplished himself a tittle "the king of the notorious ring" and if you know then you know.️
Chris was a man of many talents very quick with his hands and feet was quite the super star in rugby back in his earlier days very fit in health, 3rd eye awakening, whai korero, kapahaka, Mau taiaha he was a Pou Rua in Te Whare Tū Taua O Aotearoa.a very fast learner work wise was very eager to
learn new things and tried his best to Excel in everything he done he never liked failing failure wasn't an option he accomplished a lot in his 25yrs if life not as much as he would have wanted but his story wasn't written to go any
further than what he was given Chris was a very staunch, tough, cheeky, loving, caring handsome young man and he will forever live on in us for all eternity.
